GLAM Survey of Collecting Policy & Practice:
Magdalene College, Old Library, University of Cambridge

The Old Library holds manuscripts of works by Thomas Hardy, Rudyard Kipling, T.S. Eliot and I.A. Richards; 38 medieval manuscripts, including a thirteenth-century Apocalypse; papers of the Ferrar family of Little Gidding; diaries of A.C. Benson, and W. R. Inge; and letters of George Mallory. The Pepys Library at Magdalene College consists of the library of Samuel Pepys which includes 3,000 volumes (including the Diary), c.60 medieval MSS, naval MSS, prints and drawings, calligraphy, music, incunabula, etc.
