How can I join GLAM?              

To become a member of GLAM, simply request to join the GLAM listserv.

What does membership of GLAM involve?

Membership is free and open to anyone with an interest in literary collections. While we encourage members to participate in GLAM activities, there are no obligations or commitments required.


 GLAM is largely made up of professionals working with literary collections in university and national libraries, but we welcome a diverse and inclusive membership.

Whether you work with literary collections in local record offices, public libraries, museums, or publishing houses, a researcher or teacher.

Individual member details are maintained by GLAM in accordance with the GLAM constitution. All communication is directed through the GLAM listserv.

How does GLAM operate?    

GLAM aims to hold three meetings for members each year. These will be a combination on online, in-person and hybrid events, ranging from short webinars, to day long conferences, as resources allow.

What happens at meetings?

Meetings have a range of formats. They often include presentations on different projects from invited members and offer opportunities for open discussion with colleagues.
